Peking duck and lantern-lit lanes after dark
Half dayBeijing
From $72 per group
Beijing tastes best after dark. This evening walks the hutongs between four food stops, anchored by a Peking duck table where the chef carves at your side — skin first, dipped in sugar, the old way.
The route
- Stop 1: Jianbing crepe + soy milk, the breakfast that became an evening ritual
- Stop 2: Zhajiang noodle shop (a bowl with a 100-year recipe)
- Stop 3: Peking duck dinner, carved tableside
- Stop 4: Candied hawthorn skewers for the walk out
Good to know
Total walking is about 2.5 km over three hours. Duck dinner is shared family-style; vegetarian duck-pancake versions can be pre-arranged.
