This full-day private tour packs the essential Wuyishan experience into one smooth loop: a bamboo raft down the Nine-Bend Stream, a climb up Tianyou Peak, and a walk through the Dahongpao tea cliffs. Your guide will handle all tickets and timing so you can focus on the scenery.

Sample itinerary

• 08:30 Hotel pickup in Wuyishan city area; drive to Nine-Bend Stream raft dock (approx. 20 min).
• 09:00–11:00 Bamboo raft down Nine-Bend Stream (about 1.5–2 hours), passing the major peaks.
• 11:15–12:30 Climb Tianyou Peak (about 1 hour up, 45 min down), with photo stops at the summit.
• 12:30–13:30 Lunch break at a local restaurant (meal not included; guide can recommend).
• 13:45–15:30 Visit Dahongpao Scenic Area: walk to the mother tea trees, see the cliff inscriptions, and learn about Wuyi rock tea.
• 15:45–16:45 Explore Wuyi Palace and the Song Dynasty kiln ruins.
• 17:00–17:30 Return to hotel in Wuyishan city area.

Good to know

Wear comfortable walking shoes; Tianyou Peak has steep stone steps and can be slippery when wet. The bamboo raft operates in light rain but may be suspended in heavy rain or high water; in that case, we will rearrange the order or offer an alternative. Bring sunscreen, a hat, and a light jacket in cooler months. Raft tickets are limited and often sell out, so early booking is recommended.
