Lijiang Old Town is at its best after sunset, when the tour groups leave and the lanes fill with warm lantern light. This 3.5-hour evening walk is all about eating and wandering: your guide orders the local favorites, explains what you're tasting, and shares the Naxi stories behind the food.

• 17:30 Hotel pickup in Lijiang and transfer to the old town entrance

Good to know

Come hungry—there are several tastings, and portion sizes add up. The walk covers about 2–3 km on uneven stone lanes, so wear comfortable shoes. Vegetarian and mild-food preferences can be accommodated if you tell us when booking. The old town is busy in the evening; keep an eye on your belongings and stay with your guide.
