Wild Elephant Valley Day Trip from Jinghong

Wild Elephant Valley sits about an hour north of Jinghong and is one of the few places in China where you can look for wild Asian elephants. Good to know

Wild elephants are wild animals, so sightings are never guaranteed. The boardwalk involves some walking in humid conditions; bring sun protection, mosquito repellent and comfortable shoes. The cable car may be suspended in strong wind or heavy rain.
