Laoshan has several entrances and internal shuttle routes; this itinerary uses the Taiqing area, which is the most straightforward for a one-day visit. Expect stairs and inclines, so bring comfortable shoes. Weather on the coast changes quickly, so a light jacket is useful even in summer.
