This full-day private tour covers the essential Changbaishan North Slope in a comfortable, unhurried way. You'll ride the scenic shuttle and 4x4 up to Heaven Lake, walk to Changbai Waterfall, and unwind at Julong Hot Springs before returning to Erdaobaihe.
Sample itinerary
- 08:00 Hotel pickup in Erdaobaihe, drive to North Slope gate (about 30 min)
- 08:30 Enter scenic area, take shuttle bus to transfer station
- 09:30 Transfer to 4x4 to Heaven Lake (if open; otherwise visit Tianwen Peak or Changbai Waterfall first)
- 11:30 Walk to Changbai Waterfall and Julong Hot Springs area
- 12:30 Lunch at a local restaurant (own expense, guide can recommend)
- 14:00 Visit Julong Hot Springs, optional soak (ticket not included)
- 15:30 Walk the underground forest or green valley boardwalk if time allows

Good to know
Heaven Lake access depends on weather; the 4x4 shuttle may close without notice. Bring a windproof jacket, as the summit is 10–15°C cooler than the base. This tour involves moderate walking on boardwalks and stairs; comfortable shoes are recommended.
